The main direction of our company is the processing of ARTEMIA CYSTS – brine shrimp eggs, being in diapause. This shrimp is distributed everywhere in the hyperhaline (strongly salted) lakes and lagoons.

In the event of adverse conditions related, depending on the hydrological features of the pond, with increased water salinity or temperature decreases, or with the pond drying, shrimp begin to spawn resting cysts.

In West Siberia it occurs, usually starting in August and continues until the complete destruction of the shrimp population. At this time procurement of Artemia cysts is held, technology of procurement depends on the hydrological features of the lake and includes the collection of raw materials either from the pond surface, or from shore emissions. After collecting the cysts undergo primary processing, including the separation of impurities by density sorting in rape and sifting through fine-meshed sieves.

Extracted from the pond cysts have a very low hatching rate of nauplii by incubation as a result of genetically preprogrammed needs in the passing of diapause, in which the necessary activation of vital processes takes place.

When stored for a certain time under certain temperature conditions the so-called imitation activation occurs. In addition, recently leading processors use new methods to reduce the duration of passing of diapause.

One of such methods is drying cysts and activation of various chemical activators of hatching. This method allows to increase the number of larvae of Artemia, and greatly to facilitate the process of storage and use of starting feed.

An important advantage of GAMMARUS and DAPHNIA production is obtaining of ecologically clean product, which lacks any additives. Caught shrimps are dried in the sun, then sifted through special sieves. They are not subjected to any mechanical and thermal processing, which is a huge advantage in the evaluation of this product. Gammarus in the sifting process is divided into 2 types: gammarus and GAMMARUS LEGS.
